Heartstrings: Charity Walk.

Come 23 August 2008, put on your walking shoes and fancy gear and join in the Heartstrings Walk @ Esplanade Park 2008, organised by Community Chest! An exciting and meaningful experience for families and individuals from all walks of life to celebrate the nation’s 43rd birthday and Community Chest’s 25th birthday and celebrate Singapore as a giving and caring community. Take a brisk or leisurely walk along the Singapore River with the beneficiaries from different voluntary welfare organisations including children, family, elderly and people with disabilities.

Paint your face and have fun!
At the end of the Walk, join in the carnival organised by the National Council of Social Service to celebrate 50 years of structured social service. Visit more than 100 exhibits and handicraft stalls by voluntary welfare organisations, befriend and spend time with the less fortunate. Catch Sharity Elephant, enjoy games, food and performances by voluntary welfare organisations. There is something for everyone! This is one experience you wouldn’t want to miss!
Come walk with us and make a difference in the community.
