I was listening to Gabriel Yared's The Unfeeling Kiss which was a song used in the movie, The City of Angels. And realised the general 'softness' in the touch. The dynamics was wonderful but it was controlled. In popular music, a lot of technicalities are stretched, and there's lesser emphasis on the feelings behind a piece, as well as the choreography in entirety. I'd say it's a lot of acrobatics, but sometimes too much is kinda nauseating and tiring.
What say you?:)
